There was one up in a tree last night, a little one, and it kinda' looked like a cat with feathers to me. They got those big kitty eyes . . Somethin' to think about for sure. =o

I think one could speculate that they are! If not in the abstract fashion you've presented, then at least it could be considered that everything is related to everything. The material that makes up feathers also makes up hair for example.
Plus, they both love catching mice! ^_^
